October 19, 2025 — A shipment of 34,560 "Guangming 2" white-feather broiler parent stock hatching eggs successfully arrived in Tanzania. Following inspection and quarantine by Mengzi Customs, the eggs were dispatched from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. This milestone marks the first entry of "Guangming 2" into the Tanzanian market and represents a critical step in Guangming Bio’s global expansion.
"Guangming 2," a high-growth white-feather broiler breed independently developed by Guangming Bio, passed national review in December 2021 as one of China's first domestic white-feather broiler breeds. The breed rivals international standards with impressive performance metrics:
Market Weight: Reaches 2.8 to 3.0 kg at 42 days.
Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR): Stable between 1.32:1 and 1.5:1.
Competitive Edge: Superior meat quality and disease resistance compared to global peers.
End-to-End Cold Chain Logistics
The export team managed the entire supply chain, from collection and professional packaging to cross-border logistics. Utilizing specialized constant-temperature transport vehicles and pre-coordinated airline cargo arrangements, the team ensured optimal temperature and humidity throughout the journey.
Strategic Global Expansion
"This export follows our successful entry into Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Saudi Arabia since 2024," stated Liu Dawei, General Manager of Guangming Bio. "It further expands our footprint within the 'Belt and Road' initiative and demonstrates the international competitiveness of Chinese poultry genetics".
